We were at The Magnolia events venue for a Sangeet Pre-Wedding party! It was an amazing experience for us as we get to witness how weddings are done in other cultures. It was beautiful, colorful, and the people were all great and boy did they know how to party all night long! Families from both the bride and groom’s side all came together, with all the kids, teens, adults and oldies under one big roof. The photobooth was running non-stop and even the seniors joined in on the fun!
The theme was Moroccan and had a bold color scheme of hotpink, purple and lime green. We incorporated mehndi / henna design elements into the photo booth layout to reflect their culture. Here are some highlights from the event, and if you want to see more, head on over to their online gallery!
We are based in Calgary, but we can travel to locations outside the city. Our photo booth has been to Edmonton, High River, Priddis, Banff, Canmore, and more recently, Brooks, AB! It was our first time in this lovely town to celebrate a Christening.
The client requested a floral design made of white lilies and we created a clean look with a white blackground and lace borders. We incorporated the baby’s photo as well. Blue and white stripes backdrop was used for a heavenly feel.

A glamorous black and red themed party was thrown for Madeline’s 50th birthday. It was held at the Killarney Glengarry Community Hall, in Southwest Calgary. It was our first time to use the Pewter, Copper & Silver Glitter Ombre backdrop and it looked glorious! The bold colors really popped out and blended well with the overall theme. The brass stanchions with red velvet rope not only served as crowd control, it created a beautiful setup that made people feel like they are in a Hollywood red carpet setting!
We designed the layout in edgy, modern and elegant elements in black and red to reflect the theme as well as the bubbly personality of the celebrant – who is a very wonderful lady! Both kids and adults had such fun times in the photo booth. Check out all their photos in their online photo booth gallery!
We kicked-off fall with a wedding at the Teatro, a fine-dining restaurant in Downtown Calgary! The wedding theme was black and silver with touches of light pink/blush, an elegant combination for a formal affair. The venue provided a beautiful setting oozing with class and sophistication. The backdrop used for the photobooth was a glittery black and silver ombre backdrop which was perfect for the theme.
It was a tight squeeze for the photo booth at a corner in the venue but we pulled it off!
It was a late call time for us to set up the photo booth for partying all night long till way past midnight. At the end of evening, we turned the photo booth around to take shots of everyone who stayed. Everyone had fun as evident in some highlights from the event below:
We rock corporate parties! We have been chosen time and again by Wind Mobile to provide the photo booth for their employee social events in Calgary. It is our 3rd event for them, and our first time to set up at the National on 10th. We are super honored and thankful for their trust, and for the people at the party for being awesome and fun!
To celebrate the end of summer, the backdrop they used was Mint confetti on white. It added a whimsical element to the design which is their usual orange layout with just their logo. Mint confetti also loks like falling snow, a reminder that winter is coming soon!
2014 is about to wrap up with company holiday parties and we are gearing up for yet another busy month. For now, here are some highlights from the event. It is also the first time to use some of our new photo booth props and signs!
First time to use the Lovelace backdrop for the photo booth at Jeff & Julie’s wedding at the Carriage House Inn! Made of pleated chiffon fabric with ivory scallops, this lovely backdrop feels and looks like the skirt of a wedding dress. Perfect for weddings, or a lady’s birthday party!
Overflowing props, booze and love makes for an awesome photo booth experience. This wedding will go down in history as one of the coolest we’ve ever been to. Check out our Hollywood style photobooth setup!
And here are some highlights from the shindig. You can see how much fun people had at the photo booth! We are so honoured to be a part of this wedding and what a lovely couple those two are! Congratulations Jeff & Julie! Check out all the photos in their online photo gallery.
Having a photo booth at your kid’s party adds awesomeness to their day! They will go crazy with our props – and we have tons of them! Keeps them busy all day with role-play using our assortment of costume outfits, super hero and fantasy masks. Many of our props are actually toys and when they see our prop table, its like going to Toys ‘R Us!
Our camera can tilt up and down so those little ones can stay where they are don’t have to be carried by an adult to get into the shot. Kids are smart and they figure out how to use the photobooth quickly. Pretty soon they have a big wad of photos to take home.
See our setup photos below for a children’s party at a restaurant. More of Cruz’s part photo booth shots here.
We love Kevin & Mychan’s Pink & Blush wedding theme. The photo booth layout design incorporated the floral elements, colors, and intricate lace patterns that the bride wanted. The backdrop chosen was Dorian, which had a neutral grey damask design for contrast. We also designed a wedding monogram for their logo.
The bride requested for the postcard layout to output 2 prints (double prints!), so she can place one of them in her guest book. Before entering the reception area, guests will have to go through the photo booth to have their picture taken, because its the only way to get inside! This strategy ensured that everyone has a photo keepsake and an entry in the guest book. As you can see in our setup photos below, the space was a bit tight, but we made it work!
We had fun times at the Dalhousie Community Centre in Calgary for a wedding. The crowd was great, even the kids and grandparents had fun taking photos on the photo booth. We are seeing a trend for purple and silver in weddings. Paisley is the motif, and the combination is beautiful!
The wedding theme is purple, silver with paisley as the motif. Paisley is such a beautiful pattern used in both western weddings as well as East-Indian / Persian weddings. We loved working on the the logo and photo booth layouts! Purple and silver really go well together lending a luxurious atmosphere to the event – elegant and classy! The client chose a 4-shot postcard layout and a 3-shot double strip layout.
The backdrop the bride initially chose was a solid black background to bring out the beautiful design, but we offered our latest backdrop offerings at the last minute and she fell in love with Glitter Ombre Purple+Silver. It’s so perfect for her wedding theme. This backdrop is from Drop It Modern, where we get most of our backdrops.
The kids had fun times in the booth. To capture the little ones, we are able to tilt down the camera so they will fit in the frame (and not just their heads poking out).
Can we also say, the bridesmaids are all gorgeous – even when they’re goofing around?
We love doing weddings! It is an honor to witness a couple madly in love with each other on their wedding day.
Love is a powerful feeling and it shows in all the guests’ photo booth photos – everyone is smiling, kissing and hugging!
